I Can Still Turn Wrenches. I've Worked In Two Machine Shops. Been Building American Muscle Cars My Whole Life. I think Replacement of Cam & Lifter + All other Leak Issues. I would Want The Option Of New Motor Cost Comparison.
Haha, those OM642 engines in those NVC3 Sprinters are full of fun stuff like that.
Thank you! Nissan transmission are a fraud anyway !! Do not buy Nissan!
Become part of your local government and start making changes. If it wasn’t for California and all of the hippies, these things wouldn’t exist.
Dave If I Don't Get My Ssi Disability ... Can I Be A Part Of Your Team?
Looks like a 4-Runner 🤔
What an unbelievably dumb thing to do on a truck that is that expensive. Modern American engineering.
First thing I do when I get a car is remove the plastic covers.
Plus def who needs that crap
Of course you talk to them about it let them choose for themselves.
I love my Powerstroke. But, if I had it to do all over again, I would have bought a Cummins.
Maybe you need a tesla
I suspect the government would rather just eliminate the diesel than improve upon it . . .
Where my brother lives the emissions stuff isn't legally required. He deleted it all on all his trucks. $5000 each and by the end of 5 years it was paid back on fuel savings, never mind the savings in maintenence. Delete if you van in my opinion.
I let my Audi S5 warm up for at least 5 minutes before I touch it. These motors are more temperamental than women 😅
Engine code. Auto parts guy said Catalytic converter. I asked how much. He said "Clean it firts". ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm a hater for wides.. guess I'm old because I'm think it looks stooooopid... I hate seeing big wheels and tires and no exhaustion from being quiet... Buying cosmetic items before mechanical or performance related items is mind-boggling to me
Dealership are just lazy to fix. Instead of root cause they take the shotgun approach
BUY AMERICAN ….
Sea foam will fix it.
Is that a F4L2011? Good engine either way, make sure to keep up with the timing chain/belt as well. One of the only main wear components on this engine.
I got 85000 miles on my first set of pads on my 06 Sprinter.
That can be cleaned, but what’s the idle hours on that engine, or the tune on that car.
School me on this folks. Is that a durable fix? Anything is better than worn out obviously but how does this last compared to original? Does the weld ruin heat treat or is it essentially new?
Buy actual brand name products and stop buying from temu for a start. You get what you pay for.
Fass egr cooler filter
Run!
That sucks.
i can't believe you ran that pick across the surface.... but yah maybe the military is able to get away or it was a surplus truck for example
rules for thee not for me. Government can go pound sand.
Dave you are smarter than the average bear. You know the scoop on the mechanics
I have a 2019 vw jetta, the ckek engine comes on it say small evap leak, I cook it to the dealer and they nothing is wrong with it,after awhile the light comes back, now it's saying permanent code stored
Awesome eye! Colby
what a great guy....
Facts!😮
Agreed!
Man alive. I love your channel. I love what you're doing on here and taking care of your employees. Man that is huge. Yeah it's an it's expensive but if you don't take care of them they're not going to stay. They're going to find somewheres else to go and that's just the way it is so. But I wish you were here in Tennessee so I could work for you You're awesome!
This hits deep Brother 😊
Rotflmao😂😂😂
Ok most rear seals give up because the bearing behind them puts to much oil pressure that over comes the weep hole rear crank brg shot
Dave i just bought a 2024 diesel duramax what additive would you recommend on every fill
Escorts and focus used to eat valves seats like crazy
I've been hearing that the mice like to get in there because they eat the wires because the insulation is made out of soy instead of rubber.
94 cobra living in hot humid climate mechanic tells me to us 20 / 50 castrol regular oil ....not synthetic
Could you tell us what cars are direct injection Dave? I have no clue
You made it but here is another
That'll buff out....
Was that truck under water?
Nothing says "I love you guys" like making sure their bums are clean.🤠
Ive been a framer building houses for the last 15 years im 37 and bought my first truck a couple years ago and i wanted to modify it for some off-road use and i have officially fell in love with vehicle mechanics. I started by throwing on new struts/shocks then did a rear end swap and new leaf packs and wiring up my diff locker and then regeared the vehicle for some bigger tires. Now ive done much more but that right there lit fire under me i wish i went for a different path one involving vehicle repairs and upgrades but at least im still young enough to enjoy it. Dave you inspire a lot of people and im so glad i found this channel i hope we get more people like you in the business.🙏🙏
